the case retains its original finish with minor scuffs and scrapes. The bottom is a period replacement adapted from another clock and does not have a finial. The carved skirt is complete but the two rear elements are replacements and it has some minor roughness elsewhere. The dial is excellent with no hairlines. The top and upper finials and both keys are original. For reference please see Tran Duy Ly's book "Kroeber Clocks" page 125. The only other example we have ever handled, sold in our May 2011sale for $9500 plus 15% Buyer's Premium.
