Lot of approximately 98 Edison Blue Amberol 4-minute celluloid cylinders - plus nine 2-minute celluloid cylinders made by Indestructible Oxford, etc. Also 21 Edison 4-minute hard wax records - plus 45 Edison and 2 Columbia 2-minute wax records. A total of 173 good records. Another nine early wax records in poor condition have been added to the box as they may be useful for shaving and recording. Blue Amerols are almost indestructible. All these are in good condition and very playable. They have not been picked over and there may be duplicates. Any mildew can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth. Many have original boxes with lids, some without lids and others without boxes. Celluloid records should be only be played on an Amberola machine or an earlier machine which has been converted to a diamond needle reproducer. 2- minute wax records should only be played on machines that have a sapphire stylus as in a "C" reproducer and 4-minute wax records should be played on a machine with a sapphire needle "H" reproducer.
