the painted metal has toned and some of the lettering has faded, with some earlier poor inpainting along the edges. The bezel catch is broken; the front lower inset panel is warped and has some veneer splits, and there are other age splits. The old finish is mostly glossy but has some spotting, especially on the curved top. The fusees have steel cables, and the movement ticks and strikes but was not fully tested. The bell is newer. The brass accents, handles, and fish scale pierced side windows are nice. There is no pendulum and no glass over dial.
