Gordian Hettich Sohn, Germany, "Bell Ringers", walnut, architectural, Gothic style case with stepped base, buttressed corners, and gable with pierced, carved tracery with quatrefoil at top, and finished with a belfry, the front with two lancet arch doors concealing the figures which reveal themselves and "ring" the bells at the quarters, Roman numeral wooden dial, pierced hands, 50 hour, three train brass movement striking the quarters on two bells, and counting the hours on the larger bell, the back plate marked "G.H.S" front feet replaced, minor dings and scratches, doors replaced, figures buttress at rear right replaced, top of belfry missing, hands replaced, case back replaced, figures good, with wear and minor losses, upper bell from belfry detached but present movement ticking, hour strike train will run when manually activated through side door, quarter train not functioning, pendulum replaced
