Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Pittsburgh" City Series shelf clock with an 8 day spring driven time & strike lyre movement in a walnut case. The polished walnut case retains some original finish. The original painted dial is in good condition with a possible finish overcoating. The hands appear original. The cut glass pendulum bob is original with some mirror oxidation in the lower center of the bob. The cathedral gong has been modified and now strikes on a bell attached to the gong. The movement is signed.
