(2) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., Cottage shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time and strike movement in a rosewood veneered case, c1900. (3) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn. "Kitchen" shelf clock with a spring driven 8 day time, strike and alarm movement in a rosewood case, c1890. (1) The case has been nicely refinished and the half columns have been regilded There are some veneer repairs to the base. The painted dial has faded with some loss. The hands appear original. The door glasses are both original. Ht. 18.25in. (2) The case retains its original finish with some veneer repairs on the door and minor veneer damage on the right base return. The original painted dial is in good condition. The hands appear original. The upper door glass is original. The lower door glass is original, but has black painting added on the reverse side. Ht. 14.5in. (3) The case has its original finish. The dial has repainted and the hands replaced. Both door glasses appear original. Ht.15.75in.
