The original gilt frames have an old layer of gold paint and loss to the gesso base. Original throat glass has loss to the background. Dial is replaced as it has been made from a piece of sheet steel. Bottom tablet is not original. Original movement is attached to the case with a screw through the back plate. Ht 30" (2) Mahogany case in an old finish has some repairs on the bottom board. The gilt door frames have a layer of gold paint. Bottom tablet is not original. Throat tablet has background loss and is not original. Dial is not original as also made from a piece of sheet steel. Period hands. Movement is attached to the case with a screw through the backboard. Weight baffle is missing. Ht 30" One has a missing finial, the other no finial.
