Unsigned New Hampshire or Massachusetts Lyre Banjo hanging clock with a weight driven 8 day time and strike movement in a mahogany and gilt case. The gilt areas of the clock are in nice condition with the exception of some loss to the left and right returns on the base piece. The lower door glass is a later replacement while the lyre glass is original and in good condition with some minor loss. The dial has been professionally repainted by the Dial House. The hands appear to be original. The rack and snail movement is missing the bell and appears to have had maintaining power added to the time train at some later point. The convex glass in the dial bezel may be later. The weights are absent.
