Norris North, Torrington, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike weight wood movement narrow case pillar & scroll shelf clock. Mahogany and mahogany veneered case has been refinished. Original scrolls have about the upper third of them repaired. Feet and skirt look original. Tablet is painted on old glass, but is not original. Top glass is very old but has been out of the case. Dial is of proper design, but incorrectly painted on metal instead of a wood plate. Hands are proper type, but probably not period. A plus is a very nice set of original small size brass finials. Nice clean label inside the case. The "Torrington" type movement is OK.
