John Reid, Banff, [Scotland] dwarf tall clock, 8 day, time and bell strike, weight driven movement in a flat top ebonized pine case with brass dial with engraved dial center and corner cherub spandrels, calendar and silvered chapter ring, signed by maker the case has been refinished and is a much later period, at least 40 to 50 years newer than the movement. There is an age split in the base and the faceboard above door in hood and some minor damage to return molding on hood. The dial has minor tarnish. Both hands are replaced and not proper style. The weights and pendulum are reproductions of the proper type.
