Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) C. & L.C. Ives, Bristol, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike weight wood movement pillar & scroll shelf clock, c. 1830. (2) Silas "Hoadly" (label printer misspelling for Hoadley), Plymouth, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike weight wood

(1) Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in original finish has a new top and bottom. Painted wood dial is proper for this case, but is not original and has been plugged and redrilled. Movement was made by Ephraim Downs. Original tablet with restoration. No bell, hands, finials, weights or pendulum. Pillar & scrolls by this firm are rare. Ht 29.5" (2) Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in original finish has damage to scrolls. Wood dial is not original. Movement is correct as Ephraim Downs was making movements for Hoadley's early clocks before he started making his own. Pulleys on top of the case are missing. No pendulum bob, weights or finials. Ht 29.5"
