Elliot, London, England, tall clock, 8 days, time, strike and chiming on gongs, three brass weight driven movement signed Elliot in an oak case with broken arch on hood flanked by full columns, carved rosettes, glazed trunk door, reeded quarter columns and ogee feet. The brass dial has silvered chapter ring and moon phase. the case has been refinished with a milky opaque stain and has minor age related scuffs and dings. The center finial is a replacement and the two side finials are absent. The dial has some tarnishing and the moon disc is starting to flake. The pendulum and weights are original and in good condition.
