case polished, minor veneer flakes, veneer repair to door at upper left, finials replaced, top right molding replaced, backboard with added strip of wood at bottom, dial good, hand with minor pitting, oxidation and loss to color, movement with minor staining, ticking, weight shell loose, wt-bottom missing, pendulum crutch repaired. Original silvered beat scale. This style case was popular in Berlin from mid to late 19th century.
