Herschede Hall Clock Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, "Pattern No. 86" hall clock, 8 day, time, strike and chime on 9 tubular bells, two brass weight driven movement in a mahogany case with full columns, beveled glass door and sides, arch top and resting on bun feet. The silvered brass dial has moon phase, spandrels, tune selector for Westminster or Whittington signed F.M. King JR, serial #3242 the case retains its original finish with a few surface blemishes. The lower right side molding has been repaired. One tube has a 2in cracked near the top. This movement configuration is designed to chime being driven by only two weights.
