Gillett & Johnston, Croyden, English small tower clock movement, single- train time- only double- three- legged gravity escapement, c1920 we date this small movement based on the company name and reference to King George V. It appears complete and includes additional components including shafts, lead- offs, motion works, and retains its distinctive green paint. It also appears to have been converted to electric winding and we have included a separate mounted motor system, with the same paint, which may be related.
