this clock was nicely restored around 1990, and the entire case nickel plated. The glass tube on the Centigrade thermometer was replaced [F tube with mercury is original]. Time movement was cleaned and the hands replaced with pierced club style; platform is intact and ticking. The movement for the beacon is contained in the base of the lighthouse, wound from the rear, and the beacon rotates approx once a minute, revealing the time to anyone in view of the piece. Black marble base and all hardware components original. Overall very good condition.
