Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Octagon Top" shelf clock with a spring driven 30 hour time and strike movement (round style) in a rosewood veneered case, c1870; (2) Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow, Conn., "Octagon Top " shelf clock with a spring driven 30 hour time and strike movement (lyre style) in a rosewood veneered case, c1865. (1) The finish is largely gone from the case and there are several areas of veneer loss. The dial has been repainted and the "ST" hands are original. Both door glasses are original. The lower glass has been redone with black paint. The pendulum bob is new; (2) There is some original finish left and veneer issues in several locations. The dial has been repainted.
