Clocks- 2 (Two) French Black Mantel: (1) 8 day time and gong strike spring driven movement mantel clock with Marti movement with visible Brocot escapement in black slate case with variegated pink marble accents; (2) 8 day time and gong strike spring driven movement mantel clock with black slate case and dark red marble inlay and trim. (1) the heavy stone case is in nice condition with the marble inserts and somewhat faded gold scrolls. There are a few very small corner chips on the front bottom edge. The thick beveled glass and white enamel dial are fine. Red stone pallets are present. The round movement ticks and strikes but was not tested long term; (2) black slate case is in good condition with the red marble inserts and faded gold scrolls. There are a few small corner chips on the front top edge. The beveled glass is fine. There are a few hairlines in the porcelain dial ring. The round movement ticks and strikes but was not tested long term.
