Clocks- 2 (Two): (1) American iron cased shelf clock with gold ornamentation on a japanned base and mother of pearl inlay with an 8 day spring driven time and strike movement by Miles Morse, Jr., Plymouth Hollow, Conn., c1852; (2) Elisha Manross, Bristol, Conn miniature OOG shelf clock with a 30 hour spring driven time, strike and alarm movement in a rosewood veneered case with a Wm. B. Fenn tablet, c1845. (1) There is some loss to the ornamentation. The MOP inlays are in good condition. The dial has been poorly repainted. The hands are original. The movement is signed; (2) The finish may be original. There is one small veneer chip on the base. The dial has loss at the four corners. The strike gong is missing. The hands are not original. The movement and alarm mechanism have brass springs. Both door glasses are original, The dimensions are for clock number 2;
