The case retains some original finish and is in very good condition. The original painted dial is also in very good condition with minor flaking at the numeral "III". The hands are original. The case is dated on the back side. The movement is signed. The door glasses are both original. There is an excellent Seth Thomas label inside the case which is overpasted with a label stating "Winward's Grand Invention in Musical Double Alarum Eight-Day Clocks".
