Clocks- 4 (Four): (1) American, Unknow, 30 hour, time and alarm spring driven movement miniature sharp gothic or steeple clock, c1870; (2) New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., 8 day, time, strike and alarm spring driven movement sharp gothic or steeple clock, c1870; (3) Waterbury Clock Co., Waterbury, Conn., 8 day, time and strike spring driven movement sharp gothic or steeple clock, c1870; (4) Wm. L. Gilbert & Co., Winsted, Conn., 8 day, time and strike spring driven movement sharp gothic or steeple clock, c1860. (1) Mahogany and rosewood veneered case in original finish has some damage on the base and a couple veneer chips on the door. Original painted dial has scattered paint loss. Original tablet. Replaced hands; (2) Rosewood veneered case in original finish has some loss on the base and the upper right front molding. Original painted dial has minor loss at the winding arbors. Original tablet has been poorly restored. Clean label inside; (3) Rosewood veneered case in original finish has a couple small veneer chips on the molding and a small chip on the door. Dial looks replaced. Period hands. Tablet is replaced. Clean label inside; (4) Mahogany and rosewood veneered case has been nicely restored. Original painted dial has age darkened a little with some minor loss at the winding arbors and mounting pins. Original hands and tablet. Dark but readable label inside. Measurement is for the largest item.
