Cast iron front case with MOP in nice condition under a yellow varnish layer. The paper dial has age darkened with some surface abrasion. Minute hand is modern replacement. It looks like the great wheel on the strike side has been repaired. There is a small label on the back of the cast iron front that reads: "Patent Applied C. Goodrich, September 5, 185?"
