(2) Boston Clock Co., Chelsea, Mass., "Queen Anne" carriage clock, 8 day, timepiece with platform escapement in a gilt brass case with three beveled glasses and white enamel dial showing Roman numerals. Dedicated on the back to "Jeannie", c1890. (1) Solid brass case is in good condition Beveled glasses are fine. Original porcelain dial is very nice, but has one long hairline between the center arbor and the number 3. Original hands and pendulum. Movement is signed. Ticks and strikes, but was not tested long term. (2) Slight tarnish on case and front mask. The dial is in fine condition Very small chips to corners of two of the beveled glasses. The movement winds, ticks, and sets but was not tested long term. Dimensions provided are for the crystal regulator. Sold "as is".
