Brewster and Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn., 30 hour, time and strike spring driven movement sharp gothic or steeple clock, c1845, with later ripple moulding. Refinished mahogany and mahogany veneered case in nice condition. The ripple molding on this clock was produced by Irvin Rosen of Virginia, c. 1980, and applied to a period case. Original painted dial has age darkened with some loss at the winding arbors. Original hands. Original table is cracked in the lower right corner. Movement has original brass springs.
