The movement was designed by Joseph Ives. Mahogany veneered case has some veneer loss and small damage on the bottom front and the left side bottom. Original painted dial has some loss on the outer edge. The left gilt column has some loss to the gesso. The gilt crest has some scattered loss. The side mirrors behind the columns are missing. A large shrinkage crack in the backboard. Mirror is original. Weights, pendulum and hands are not original.
