Refinished mahogany and gilt case has general loss of the gilding on the rope and door molding and corner blocks. Original painted dial has scattered loss and some poor attempts to repair loss and some paint applied in the center area. Throat glass looks original with repairs to the background paint loss. The bottom tablet looks old from the back, but may be later. Eagle finial is not original. The minute hand is a replacement. The weight baffle is missing. Movement is attached with a bolt through the backboard.
