Sperry & Shaw, New York, New York, 30 hour, time and strike spring fusee bevel front Sharp Gothic or steeple clock, c1850 Refinished mahogany veneered case has a small veneer chip on the base, small damage a the upper left corner, small chip on the upper right corner and a veneer repair just above the door handle. Original painted wood dial is warped and cracked at six o'clock with scattered paint loss. Original hour hand. Minute hand of the correct type looks modern. Original acid etched and cut glass tablet. The finials have age, but may be replacements. Dark, but readable stained label has some loss.
