Hall clock, 8 day, time and strike on gong, two weight driven movement by Elite (Germany) in a mahogany case with reeded corner columns on trunk with brass capital flanking beveled glass door. The hood has full masculine columns and carved rosettes on broken arch top. The brass dial has silvered chapter ring, applied brass numerals and spandrels, moon phase and silvered calendar and second's bit. the clock is in good original condition including finish. The feet need to be reattached but are present. The weights and pendulum are original. The moon disc is in excellent condition. There is a great Paine Furniture label on the rear of the case in good condition.
