E. Ingraham & Co., Bristol, Conn., "Ingraham Calendar" double dial parlor clock, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement with B. B. Lewis's patented perpetual calendar mechanism in a walnut case, c1881. The clock retains its original finish which has darkened with age. There are small losses to some of the applied foliate ornaments and slight damage to a piece of moulding on top right side. The upper paper dial is replaced. The hour and minute hands are old, but not original to this clock. The day of week hand is replaced. The Lewis label behind door is mostly complete and now covered with protective plastic. Nice stamped Ingraham logo on the base inside of the case. Calendar mechanism advances when triggered manually. Movement ticks and strikes, but was not tested long term.
