E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., 8 day, weight driven, brass movement Patent or banjo timepiece
Anonymous (not verified)
24 October 2024
Mahogany case in an old finish has some dents to the veneer on the bottom door left side. Original painted dial has some loss at the mounting screws and winding arbor. Original hands and pendulum. Case is stamped "12". The case has very unusual glasses with MOP on border glass. The pendulum is unusual also in that the pendulum back is made using brass that has been milled to accept the rod. There is no hold down for pendulum. We cannot be certain if this is a Howard factory product or a nicely made case that was fitted with the Howard movement and dial.
