Asian brass reproduction of Harrison H1 marine clock, grasshopper escapement, 8 days, time only, with fusee, porcelain chapter ring, stained wood base, glass and brass cover; late 20th century The movement's brass remains brightly polished and lacquered, and the unusual escapement ticks although not tested long term. The wood base has a small scuff on the left front foot. There is a small age crack on the wood base. Heavy and fragile for shipping. Measurement is the glass case.
