France, a two part, rococo style porcelain mantel clock with case in the style of Jacob Petit, the clock and stand both decorated with molded and brightly painted naturalistic ornament, blue ground highlighted by bright gilding, all resting on an inlaid rosewood base with dome, Roman numeral white enamel dial, unusual, fancy gilt trefoil hands, 8 day, time and strike, pendule de Paris movement with silk thread suspension, the back plate marked "Medaille d'or Japy" case and base very good, with minor wear and a tiny chip at top of case, minor losses to gilding, dial with hairline, hands very good, movement complete, does not tick or strike, very gummy, needs service, wooden base with wear and scratches, dome good
