Munger & Benedict, Auburn, New York, 8 day, time and strike, weight driven brass movement, Empire "ironing board top" shelf clock. Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in original finish has some wear on the bottom front edge molding. There are some age cracks in the veneer just below the top molding. Dial glass is a proper style replacement. Mirror is period, but its wood backboard is replaced. Label is missing, but shadow of it shows on period wallpaper dust liner. Minute and seconds hands are replaced, but hour hand is original. Original painted dial has some scattered loss mainly confined to the outer edge. Original pewter "Munger" marked pulleys.
