Atkins Clock Co., Bristol, Conn. gallery wall clock with a spring driven 30 day double fusee timepiece movement in a rosewood veneered case with a ripple front molding. The case retains a complete original finish. The painted dial is original and has minor flaking in the 6 to 8 area. The hands are original. There is no Atkins label inside the case. The cord on the right train needs to be replaced. This is an excellent example of this very rare clock. See "The Clocks of Irenus Atkins" by Gregory and King, page 55.
