Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn., papier mache shelf or mantel clock, the case made by the Litchfield Manufacturing Co., with ebonized ground, decorated with mother of pearl and trimmed with gilt scrolls and leafage, polychrome painted floral garlands surrounding the Roman numeral white painted dial, above a landscape scene featuring a shoreline with buildings, boats, and a mountainous background, the case resting on an integral, ogee molded bracket base, with matching decoration, blued steel club style hands, 8 day brass, spring driven time and strike movement, dial and movement signed surface with darkened varnish, some dirt and crazing, minor losses to varnish on mother of pearl, dial restored, hands good, movement ticks and strikes, dirty, would benefit from service.
