Mahogany case in an old finish. Gilding on the door and throat frames looks to be intact under an old top finish. Original bottom tablet has been stabilized. Throat tablet is original. Original painted dial with the faint signature of "Salem" has some loss at the L-turns and at the 2 o'clock area, a couple spots near the winding arbor and some loss to the gilt chapter ring. Original hands. The bottom bracket maybe a later addition. Also included is a modern copy of the original dial that was used when the clock was on display. It is included.
