Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, "Bard" figural mantel clock with a spring driven, 8 day time and half hour strike movement in a spelter case on an enameled cast iron base. The cased originally came with a Japanese Bronze finish which has worn off over time. The case has been cleaned down to a gun metal finish and is quite attractive. The porcelain dial with visible escapement is in nice condition with no hairline cracks. The hands are original. The movement is signed.
