Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow, Conn., "Regulator No. 1 Extra" hanging clock with a round plate, weight driven 8 day timepiece movement (S. B. Terry style) in a rosewood veneered case. The rosewood case has been refinished. The veneered case bottom is replaced. The baffle board which originally had a label is replaced. The dial has been repainted and the hands are new. Both door glasses are original with the lower gilt design rebacked with black paint. The gilt pendulum rod is original as is the pendulum bob which shows the copper content of the earlier Seth Thomas bobs.
