Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 1", wall clock, 8 day, time only, nickel plated brass weight driven movement in a walnut case with a painted metal dial, nickel plated weight, nickel plated pendulum bob with damascened pattern and reverse painted lower tablet, date stamped 1884 the case has been refinished and has minor veneer flaking on inside of dial surround and a small dent on molding below lower door. The two lower finials and blocks are replaced. The lower tablet and the dial have been repainted. There is a clear date stamp on back of case.
