E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "Regulator No. 1" banjo wall clock, cherry case with turned bezel, the throat and box frames with reverse painted tablets, Roman numeral painted dial, blued steel hands, 8 day, time only, weight driven movement

the case been refinished and no longer has dark graining that was applied at the factory. There is a 3" repair/insert at bottom of lower door. The dial and tablets have been professionally repainted. The pendulum bob has concentric engraving and is original, with a small dent. Retains original weight with lead keystone to hold hook. This method of securing the hook is rarely seen after 1890.
