E. Howard & Co., Boston, Mass., "Regulator No. 70-16", wall clock, oak case with turned wooden bezel and reverse painted tablet, Roman numeral painted dial, blued steel hands, and 8 day, time only, weight driven movement the case retains is original finish, nicely rubbed down. The original dial with original paint has a very light top coat with some strengthening to signature. The tablet is original and has new retaining strips. The weight baffle is a replacement. This is an excellent example of this rare 16 inch dial model Howard.
