this clock is in almost untouched original condition. The case retains its original finish with some abrasions and scuffs at corners and one small repair to upper right corner. The center finial and half round plinth are absent and the pendulum rod and the weight hook have been repaired. Joel Warren of ithacacalendarclocks.com has a pattern for this finial, can faithfully reproduce this missing finial and is willing to do so for the future owner. The dial with original paint and hands has minor flaking around the four mounting screws. The only other example of a No. 57 Regulator coming to auction in the past was sold in August 2016 at Thomaston Galleries in Thomaston, Maine, for $41,000 plus buyer's premium and was missing it's weight and bottom bracket.
