Chris and I spoke about the architectural top, and agree that although uncommon, it is the same age as the clock; it is not the first such top that Chris has seen. The sharp Gothic look was popular at the time; could be removed if you dislike it.. The signed wooden dial is all original with good signature. Interior Forestville label is excellent and complete. Mahogany veneer is in excellent condition with original finish. A modern metal hanger has been added to the top rear of the case.
