The single hand is meant to move as water drips slowly from the cylindrical tank into the collection basin below; (2) Uhrenfabrik M,hlheim M,ller & Co., Germany, mantel clock, 8 day, three-train Westminster chime, spring driven movement stamped with the lion and "U.M." trademark in a curved mahogany case with ball-and-claw front feet and brass dial. (1) this piece will need attention, especially the right front leg which is broken. Dimensions provided are for the water clock; (2) case is either homemade or has been completely refinished. Minute hand is too short and pendulum bob is a new replacement. Glued repairs toe applied molding and one claw foot. Sold "as is".
