French Figural Bedside Night Clock with arabic numeral glass dial and diamond-shaped steel hands enclosed within a cast brass flower and fruit garland bezel and stand supporting a single candle holder at the back, two bisque young lady figures standing in joyful bliss in the flower garden all on a porcelain and gold decorated stand, one-day French movement with tic-tac escapement and watch winding key. Overall good condition with no breakage of bisque figures or base, very slight loss of color on right red shoe, movement ticks when wound. These clocks were based on much older examples which provided light by candle at night to see the time.
