Clocks- 2 (Two) American shelf: (1) Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "La Pau", 8 day, time and strike, spring brass movement porcelain mantel clock; (2) Jennings Brothers. Bridgeport, Conn., crystal regulator, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement with visible Brocot escapement in a cast brass and glass case with porcelain dial. (1) Pretty porcelain case has some minor wear to the applied gold. Original porcelain dial is perfect. Original hands. Someone has painted the brass rear access door in gold paint. Movement is signed; (2) Unsigned movement, Dial and hands are in good condition as are the beveled glasses. Case is a bit dingy with some wear to the gilding. Dimensions provided are for the Ansonia. Sold "as is".
