Dutch Friesland hooded staartklok or "tail" clock, weight driven, with animation in the arch, a windmill to the right and a fisherman to the left, driven off a pulley on the front of the escape wheel arbor.

the alarm mechanism is missing. the fishing rod, line and fish are missing from the fisherman. Lower left embossed brass "season" is missing. Perimeter portion of dial has been painted dark green. Left window glass in hood missing. Case has been refinished. Home-made weight pulley needs replacing. This is another clock from the collection of Dr. Hugh Grant Rowell, and has been in the states for many decades. Animation rollers are all intact, and overall this clock will restore nicely with modest effort. Pendulum is inside case.
