(1) Mahogany and mahogany veneered case in an old finish has veneer repairs on the bottom door and repairs on throat. Bottom bracket is a later made addition. Both tablets are modern replacements. Period iron dial has loss near the winding arbor and at the mounting pins. It appears to be original, but there are extra holes in the head. Replaced hands. The sidearms are missing; (2) Refinished mahogany and gilt case has some loss on the bottom bracket and and acorn drop. Both tablets are replacements. The period dial has some damage at the signature and someone has damaged it by drilling four screw holes. The dial is probably not original to this clock as there are slots in the dial for an L-turns that are not in the clock head. Finial is not original and too small. Plinth for the finial is a replacement.
