Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 2", the mahogany veneered case with turned bezel over the 12-inch zinc dial with roman numerals and marked "Seth Thomas", the lower glazed door with transfer decorated gold work, pendulum aperture and marked "Regulator", eight day brass movement with dead beat escapement, lantern pinions and "T" suspension for the pendulum, all on a cherry seating board, the wood rod pendulum rod carries a brass-faced pendulum bob. Dial bezel lacking veneer, replacement weight and pendulum rod, black background of lower door restored, case refinished.
