Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Chime Clock No. 55" shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day time and 4 Bell Sonora strike movement in a mahogany case. The case appears to have been nicely refinished. The silvered dial is in excellent condition. The hands are original. The beveled glass in the bezel shows no chips or cracks. The movement is stamped 89Z and the striking mechanism is stamped 90I.
